Illuminex Induction High Bay Aluminum fixture is an ideal replacement for Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium high bay light fixtures. It has an instant on and virtually maintenance free operation for over 100,000 hrs. It has a die cast aluminum housing with white powder coat finish which is corrosion resistant. Crystal clear polycarbonate glass is UV stable and heat resistant. Light weight and compact for easy maintenance. Built in Electronic ballast with a high power factor (>0.95) provides flicker free, constant output wattage for safe operation and lowe harmonic distortion (<10%). Also available with wireless on/off and dimming controls. Ambient temperature range: -20 to +40C. cUL approved and IP43 rated. The ideal lamp for warehouses, supermarkets, retail showrooms, exhibition halls and factories. Turolight ILLUMINEX is the perfect replacement for Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium Fixtures. With an average life of 100,000 hours ILLUMINEX technology will last decades without the need for maintenance. It can save energy by reducing the amount of fixtures normally required by it's HID counterparts. Compared to Metal Halide Induction lights have: Longer Life - induction has an average life of 100,000 hrs vs 10,000 hrs average for Metal Halide. This saves lamp replacement and maintenance costs. Better Lumen Maintenance - Induction lamps have only 12-18% lumen depreciation by the end of their useful life. Metal Halide depreciate 25-30%. More Consistent Color Temperature - Metal Halide lamps will change color over time and may not be consistent from the start. Induction lamps have consistent color over their entire life. Instant On and Restart - Induction has no start up period. Metal halide takes 5-8 minutes to start and 8-10 minutes to restart when turned on and off. This makes Inductions ideal for pairing with motion/activity sensors. Higher CRI - CRI for Induction lighting is 85-90 while Metal Halide is only 65-75. This makes Induction better for tasks requiring high visual acuity. Energy Savings – Induction lighting has 90 lumens/watt compared to Metal halide 65 lumens/watt and even beats out T8 lighting at 80 lumens/watt. Induction lighting is the ideal solution for your outdoor or indoor general lighting needs.
