They also have an average rated life of 10,000 hours. The patented legless twist design of the Genesis lime minimizes Maximum Overall Length(MOL) making these fit into more fixtures and lamps. The proprietary cold spot design allows full brightness instantly and select models are Energy Star Certified. This lamp replaces a 40 watt incandescent lamp.
