January 26th 2009 - Plug into Savings with Litetronics PFT Lamps
Lumetro now carries a full line of Plug-in Compact Fluorescent Tube (PFT) lamps in 2700K, 3500K, 4100K, and 5000K. PFT lamps are equipped with a two or four-pin base that is specific to the lamp?s wattage, and they utilize a ballast that is built into the fixture. The PFT lamps with a 2-pin starter are for use with a magnetic ballast. Those that have a four-pin starter are for use with an electronic ballast. Lamps cannot be interchanged with different ballasts.

January 7th 2009 - Lumetro introduces North America's first 5W Dimmable LED MR16 LED's at ~ 320 Lumens.
The ultra-bright high power dimmable MR16 bulbs are the brightest, most advanced LED bulbs available anywhere, utilizing Cryodrive technology. Producing an incredibly bright warm white light mimicking that of its halogen counterpart.
Unlike their Halogen counterparts, these bulbs emit only a fraction of the heat and can last an average of 40,000 hours. In comparison, Halogen MR16's last anywhere from 2,000 to 6,000 hours.
